Business - [resume] eWheeler, Inc. offers security, network and systems consulting and is actively engaged in energy research. We offer planned migration for new network installations to make a smooth transition when moving to a new operating environment. Implementations include high-availibility environments with failover and clustering to ensure that your system is still operable, even in the event of a failure. In business, the only thing constant is change. The key to success is planning your system infrastructure to grow with your needs, adapting to that change as it unfolds! Scholastics I complete my Master's degree in Computer Science at Portland State University in March of 2008. In addition, I will graduate with a security certificate as certified by the National Security Agency. As of December 10, 2007, I have been accepted to the Computer Science Doctor of Philosophy program at PSU. Currently, I am researching Internet design answering the to question "if you could redesign the Internet from the ground up, how would you do it?" The research is quite exciting and we have just completed a simulation framework for the model. Later this year (2008) we will be testing the model with hundreds of thousands of virtual Internet nodes. In May, 2008, we (my adviser and I) will submit a conference paper on this topic to the IEEE International Conference on Network Protocols. Personal Development I am active in the Oregon Junior of Commerce as a member of Westside Jaycees. Currently, I serve as the Individual Development Vice President the Oregon Jaycees. The Junior Chamber of Commerce is an organization between the ages of 18 and 41 which teaches leadership skills through community service and we have a lot of fun doing it! |
